I'm a wedding photographer based here in Utah and had the pleasure of working with Richie at The Red Earth Venue recently. He was so attentive and on top of everything. He kept the timeline moving smoothly, he was fun for the guests, and he was a team player. He went out of his way to check on me and my assistant regularly to make sure we were ready for events; he made sure we had time to eat dinner before speeches began; and he even double checked that we had sunscreen! Having a vendor team who works well together makes a huge difference on the wedding day. Richie is personable and fun and professional. I hope I'm able to work with him again soon because he made everyone's job easier and he made the dance floor a party! And the cold sparks that he provided were such an awesome touch for photos. BEST DJ YOU CAN BOOK!!!! DJ Richie was a highlight of our wedding day — he is so fun, and helpful, and just knows how to work a wedding and how to make all the guests have the best time ever!! We hired DJ Richie after he did 2 weddings for our best friends and he is genuinely the best part every single time. Incredible MC, he helped get us drinks as the bride & groom all night and was constantly checking if we needed anything. He took so much stress off of us and made the night so much better. We added silent disco to end the night and it was epic!!

Taylor absolutely crushed at our wedding and an engaged couple who attended were so impressed they ended up getting his number to use Best DJ to play their upcoming reception. For a week everyone kept texting us "Awesome wedding, you had a great DJ." Taylor was memorably good. For context, we had about 100 people with a lot of them in their late 20s. We wanted to have a very dance-party-centric reception and Taylor brought the energy. It felt like he had the perfect song at every moment of the night- he even got out there and hit a backflip on the dance floor. What was so impressive about him was his attention to detail. He saw that the bride and I did not have drinks and offered to grab some for us, he knew that we hadn't planned the first dance and looked for eye contact from me when to cut the song and transition, and he knew that I wanted one particular song to be played and made sure I was there for it. In terms of the customer experience, I thought the price was super reasonable and service was excellent. Richie the manager was very responsive and very upfront with a flexible contract + pricing. The day-of, Taylor was there, set up, and we didn't have to worry about anything. Taylor did a meeting with us to get some notes + the schedule and from that he handled everything great.

Working with Richie and Best DJ in Utah for our wedding was a fantastic experience! We had our wedding at the Red Earth Venue in Moab but planned it remotely from Boston, and Richie was super helpful. He helped us figure out details for the ceremony and reception, made a cut for our first dance song, and helped everything go smoothly on the big day. Our meetings with him before the wedding helped us feel prepared and comfortable going into the wedding. He was a great DJ. He brought a great energy to the reception and helped keep the party going all night, even with a crowd that is normally hard to get on the dance floor. We received tons of compliments from our guests about Richie’s DJing and energy throughout the night! We also really appreciated him checking in with us through the night and going above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly.
