Marcus brings over 15 years of experience in marketplace businesses and event technology. Prior to founding Planning Giant, he led growth at two venture-backed hospitality platforms and scaled operations across North America. He's passionate about giving independent vendors the tools to compete with large enterprises and believes every life moment deserves to be celebrated beautifully.
Aisha Okonkwo
Chief Operating Officer & Co-Founder
Aisha is the operational backbone of Planning Giant. With a background in enterprise SaaS operations and a deep love for weddings and celebrations, she oversees vendor success, platform reliability, and the customer experience end to end. She previously held operations leadership roles at Fortune 500 companies and is committed to building a platform that vendors and clients can truly trust.
Daniel Torres
Chief Technology Officer
Daniel leads all engineering and product development at Planning Giant. He's a full-stack technologist who has built platforms serving millions of users. His focus is on creating seamless, intelligent tools — from our AI event planner to real-time vendor coordination — that make planning effortless. He's a strong advocate for privacy-first design and building tech that genuinely improves people's lives.
Sophie Marchetti
Chief Marketing Officer
Sophie drives brand strategy, content, and growth marketing at Planning Giant. She has built marketing functions from the ground up at multiple high-growth startups and has a signature ability to blend storytelling with performance marketing. Sophie is also the architect of our creator and blogger program, believing that authentic content is the most powerful form of marketing in the events industry.
James Obi
Chief Revenue Officer
James leads all revenue streams at Planning Giant — from vendor subscriptions and advertising to strategic partnerships. With a career spanning SaaS, media, and marketplace businesses, he brings a data-driven approach to growth. He built and scaled our account management program, which has onboarded hundreds of vendors across Canada and the US. James is also a passionate mentor to young sales professionals.
Priya Nair
VP of Vendor Success
Priya leads the team dedicated to helping vendors thrive on our platform. From onboarding to analytics to dispute resolution, she ensures every vendor feels supported and set up for success. Before Planning Giant, she ran customer success teams at leading B2B SaaS companies. She believes that when vendors succeed, everyone wins — and she brings that philosophy to every interaction.
