We used Xtraordinary Events for our wedding flowers and decor and couldn’t have asked for more! From the fist time we met with Vito, we felt like he understood what we wanted and worked to help bring our vision to life. He was very communicative throughout the process, and the day of our wedding the flowers stole the show! Everything was beyond perfect and exceeded our expectations! There are not enough words or praise I can give for Vito and Xtroardinary Events. From the minute we met Vito we knew he was our guy. He was professional yet so friendly and approachable and we knew he would be someone we could work with easily. His prices were more than fair. He worked with us every step of the way to make the wedding exactly how we wanted it. He gave great advice and made our vision come to life. And he was also quick to tell us if he thought something would not work or if he had a better idea, which we also really apppreciated. Overall the flowers and decor were perfect, his staff was amazing and we feel like we have a new friend for life! I would highly recommend Vito for anyone looking for a gorgeous wedding. Vito, where do I even begin?! My wedding was this past Saturday, and every single one of our 100 guests have been NONSTOP raving that it was hands down the most stunning, gorgeous, breathtaking wedding they have EVER been to. But let's get to the logistics: firstly, my husband and I live in Florida, and were getting married in Glenside, PA. We had been planning a huge wedding from afar, and it was no easy task--my husband is a showman, and he wanted a BIG experience. He wanted what Vito specializes in, which is magic. There was really only one thing, though, that I insisted on, and it was greenery. As a history buff married to a history buff, our style is vintage, Old World, classical, and, frankly, Victorian--we don't like loud, bright, sunny, colorful, well-lit wedding styles. Our venue was Grey Towers Castle, a 19th century Gothic revival masterpiece, and I was afraid we'd never find a florist capable of matching the moody grandeur of the building. Vito was the answer to our prayers--he understood us within the first two minutes of our first meeting. By the end of it, he was finishing our sentences with EXACTLY what we had just been about to say. I say this with utmost confidence: the man is a genius and a master in his craft. And he is a TRUE craftsman. There is nothing artificial about his talent and vision--it comes from him, not generative software assistants. He is an artist above all else. I expressed to him that we wanted elaborate greenery, bountiful and dripping, just as it would have been in the 19th century. We wanted natural, unkempt plants that highlighted the regions our families came from, we wanted classical, we wanted a transformative experience that took our guests back in time to another world--the world our Irish and Sicilian ancestors would have only dreamed of when they first came to Philadelphia. The proposal Vito gave us was beyond even the adjective "luxurious," it was positively royal. Again, we currently live in Florida, so we had to plan from afar, and Vito was so incredibly helpful, resourceful, and professional. Within one week of our first meeting, he had already traveled to Glenside for us to scout the venue and began utilizing floorplans and measurements to perfect and hone the vision. As a tomboy, I began the wedding planning process just hoping for a decent bouquet, but when we found and met Vito, I found myself actively wanting to make my wedding a princess’s paradise. I made sure that no matter what it took, we were going to prioritize Vito in our budget. I didn't care what we had to cut--the one thing I, the lowkey tomboy bride, finally wanted out of my wedding was Vito's floral genius! I should also mention that we met Vito for the first time in March, and our wedding was in June. We aren't talking a year-long engagement with ample time for meetings and planning--we had mere months to make this happen. Vito was flexible with scheduling, fast and thorough in his replies and proposal work, and unbelievably resourceful and understanding throughout the entire crunch-timed process. On the day of the ceremony, we got to reveal Vito's creation to our guests. Audible gasps, countless "Oh my God"s. There are simply no words. Vito didn't just decorate our wedding, he brought 100 people back in time to the castle's original glory. What he created was, in fact, the most beautiful day of my entire life. Whether he knows it or not, Vito has changed everyone's lives who attended this wedding--he showed and gave everyone an experience that, in real life, shouldn't even be possible. It redefined everyone's understanding of beauty, particularly of beautiful celebrations. I can't count the number of people who keep messaging me and telling me that they never knew anything could be so gorgeous. Not just a wedding, but ANYTHING. Because of you and your amazing team, I got to feel truly beautiful for the first time in my life, all because I was surrounded by the most beautiful artistry I've ever seen. We both will never be able to express our gratitude enough.
