Beautiful studio with an amazing atmosphere! The owners, JR and Christine, are not only talented instructors but also incredibly welcoming, kind and funny. They offer classes in different formats and styles. I love how they tailor their teaching to match each individual student. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to learn ballroom dance - whether socially or competitively. 💃

I’ve been dancing at Dynamic with JR Hipsky the owner for 3 years and I love it! I spent 3 years prior doing fitness dancing and solo Latin. JR was my first partner dancing experience. JR genuinely cares about teaching dance although we do laugh more than a little bit. We’re now competing occasionally which feeds my interest in improving. Dynamic Ballroom is one of the best ballrooms in the Charlotte area. Social dancing is popular and reasonably priced every weekend. The beautiful floor is one of the largest and the people are friendly, welcoming, and fun—that’s a great reputation! If you come once you’ll probably return for more….

I have been taking dancing lessons from JR for a long time , 6-7 years and that is testimony in itself! This is the only dance studio I would recommend. The instructors are very warm and it’s almost like a family affair. JR is very impressionable and has a great sense of humor. Christine is wonderful and brings in the charm . The ambiance is vibrant and lively all the time. I love the one hour I spend every week, helps me not only conquer my stage fright but also the daily stresses and cover out smiling and happy!

My husband and I have been taking lessons at Dynamic Ballroom for a few years now, and the instruction is truly top notch. They not only prepared us perfectly for our wedding dance, but we’ve continued to grow and improve together ever since. JR is one of the best instructors we’ve worked with — professional, technical, and always encouraging. Dynamic Ballroom is a special place with an amazing community. We highly recommend it!

What can I say? great ballroom and social dancing. It is a long ride from Taylorsville, but we love the lessons and social dancing Fridays and some Saturdays. Great instructors, free parking
